Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)/Low Vision Awareness Month.
Macular degenration is a leading cause of vision loss, affecting 1.6 million Americans age 50 and older. PBA sponsors these observances annually to increase awareness of AMD and the potential of vision rehabilitation to make the most of remaining vision.
